21 Weeks

Well, this has been a pretty uneventful week pregnancy-wise. The heat has died down so I've been much more comfortable. I've still been tired, but my iron supplements seem to be helping. I must finally look pregnant enough now where strangers are no longer wondering if I'm just fat as I've had two people ask me when I was due within just the past few days (which seems weird to be because I don't really feel very big yet). For now, I'm just continuing to work on my registry and am very much looking foward to meeting our baby girl.

From Baby Center this week, our daughter now weighs about three-quarters of a pound and is approximately 10 1/2 inches long - the length of a carrot. I may soon feel like she's practicing martial arts as her initial fluttering movements turn into full-fledged kicks and nudges. I may also discover a pattern to her activity as I get to know her better. In other developments, our baby's eyebrows and lids are present now and her vagina has begun to form as well.
